The EO does NOT supersede EAC’s VVSG Lifecycle Policy
“A new version of VVSG does not decertify existing systems or indicate that older systems are insecure or unreliable.
The EAC adopted its VVSG Lifecycle Policy in 2022, under which vendors are generally required to submit new systems for testing of adherence to the latest standards. But even after the adoption of VVSG 2.0, vendors may continue to sell equipment certified to VVSG 1.0 unless the EAC formally decertifies it. The policy also makes it possible for vendors to keep their 1.0-certified systems secure by carving out a process for security updates and bug fixes to these systems.”
The only safe way is to go back to casting ballots by hand and having multiple people compile the votes. Yeah I know long hours to count and go thru multiple people. The only upside is no computers to hack. I still don’t understand why the 2024 election was not contested. Too many ways to change code and votes. Just ask Elon. The results just do not match with voters.
People forget EOs are not law!! If they bother to follow the EOs most or partial are being squashed in court.
MAGA/Trump is throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks. But most don't see the what this has the potential to become. Chipping away at our constitutional rights and rule of law can and will lead to lawlessness and then the gloves are off. We're already in a cold civil war. Most are too timid to even see it.
