I cannot express how white-hot, puking infuriated I am. This is being done in our names, with our tax dollars, in San Benito of all places. Where my grandfather built their home on Ben Lora Lane, where he ran the Christian Science Church, and my grandmother was the speaker. Where my grandmother was a bi-lingual schoolteacher. Where my grandfather was "the bean counter," for Ballinger Construction that built highways across Texas using the very labor they persecute. Where I learned what racism looked like and became disgusted by it. Where we would be pulled over at night, so they could shine a flashlight in our eyes to check to see if they were brown. Where I determined as a child that I would get out of Texas the first chance I got. That was sixty years ago. I haven't lived in Texas in over forty years. Yes, but I also read a substack recently of someone who was investigating the department of corrections who are doing medical experiments on transmen, forcing detransition to study how quickly they can regain their fertility to carry a pregnancy to term. I want to find it again. I am hoping it isn’t true but god knows it probably is under the guise of a “medical study”. Using humans they deem “less than” in nothing new to these monsters. The entire for profit prison system in the USA is woefully inadequate, lacks oversight and humanity, ICE detention included.

Bringing children over the border is literally child trafficking. Amongst immigrants that I have personally known who crossed the desert, the extreme harsh conditions and mistreatment of those being brought by coyotes is well known. Children being sent without parents are without the protection of the ones most faithful to them. Yes, some people flee terrible conditions, but the flight into the USA itself is arguably worse, and it is done without oversight, without standards, without medical care. When you have illegal activity that buys everyone into secrecy, the grotesque predatory behavior upon these people is unchecked. They have no recourse, neither during the transit, nor in their new hopeful yet illegal life in the US. They are vulnerable to abuse from any quarter. This is trafficking.
The hospital you mentioned is 8 minutes by car (not ambulance), from the church you cited. The hospital has apparently received awards?:

Please be accurate, as it will allow a sincere response to remain clear instead of muddied by confusion over why you altered the facts to make an argument when you could just make the argument with the actual situation.

Congress needs to mandate and implement oversight on the companies that house immigrants ! Each company with a contract with HS needs to have mandatory inspections ! Any company that fails inspections should be defunded and not be able to contract with our government.Children housed should have even more oversight. 🤬We need to hold Congress accountable as they have the power of the purse.
