This situation is so horrendous. The fact that the treatment of the "caged" innocents continues is horrendous. I wish that all well trained Nationall Guards, from all states, would band together and corral every incompetent, untrained, cruel ICE agent and put them in the detention place and free the detainees there. It'd be like when the Americans and allies freed the concentration camps in Germany. OK there would be organizational problems, etc., I know, but it's hard to believe this is happening in this day and age. It's because of a cruel, incompetent, backward Trump regime. I contributed to her campaign to help get her elected. Wasted money and a very big disappointment!

This is utterly shocking, disgusting behaviour by the ‘authorities’. It’s as bad if not worse than anything I remember from the 1960s—Paris, Ireland or Chicago.

FFS, USers, get them out before your country and what’s left of its reputation is destroyed.

Extremely well-researched and well-written article as always, Dissent in Bloom! 🩵🌼 Contact Governor Sherrill here to hold her accountable for her egregious and wholly unacceptable behavior:

Message to Mikie Sherrill: WTF are you doing? What kind of Democrat are you? This isn't what you were elected to do. Do your damned job!

Thanks again for shining the light on this. Hard to figure what the governor is up to—is supporting ICE a political winner in NJ? Hard to imagine. So tragic that NJ is now doing to ICE detainees what Mississippi does to black people: lock them up in for-profit prisons and make them slave laborers. NJ should be ashamed it is allowing this.

I am appalled at this situation, and even more so that the MSM has had little coverage of the protests, and the DHS Web site contains only denials of the detainees' allegations. And I'm disappointed in the governor's conduct. A general strike is definitely called for, if we don't have a civil war started over the illegal Iran war and rising food and gas prices.

This is the U.S.A. This is who they really are.

I am a handful of miles away from this. The only thing stopping me from being there every day is because I am on federal supervised release, and an arrest, wrongful or otherwise, could jeopardize that. I am wondering if anyone knows if I can provide material support to the protesters without physically being there. I am days away from simply deciding to go there myself, and I may end up doing that. Unfortunately I am very much at risk. But if anyone knows any organizations who are helping with the protests, please let me know so I can support them. I know the area well. It is not a safe area to protest, and I wear a target on my back. So if anyone has any advice, let me know. Otherwise, I may see you there.

Do not do anything to get yourself into trouble… maybe pick up election information and pass it out to people . With a smile and say this is your country vote( not telling them who to vote for but it is a right they should use!!! And talk to others but do not put yourself in trouble.. it is hard being a empath but you need to put yourself first!!!

I’m with you on a general strike. Delaney Hall is a nightmare scene.
