Trump’s presidency was a total fluke. We should have a vaccine for fluke. We could’ve avoided Donald Trump. We could’ve avoided Donald Trump completely by not kicking Hillary Clinton to the curb twice. Once for a woke and twice for good riddance. She should’ve been our president in 2008 with Barack Obama as her VP. And then in 2016 Obama would run against Donald Trump and the woke far left would never ever go after him like they did Hillary, even though she was more liberal and more experience. My wife and I have been rewatching MASH for the upteenth time, but this time I've been struck by how prevalent the same dumbass statements Frank Burns and Col Flagg (and a few others ) made in a 70's era TV show about a 50's era war are *still* being made _today_ and with a straight face and serious tone.
Utterly mind-boggling... But, yeah, that's absolutely where we're at... The same Red Scare, McCarthy bullshit from the 50's.
Yup on steroids and I remember McCarthyism and the fear and lives ruined never to recover fear to say wrong thing to wrong person to piss off a neighbor or… and be accused by them no evidence really needful. The Congress was in lock step afraid to speak out.
