Substack is a privately held company founded in 2017 by Chris Best (CEO), Hamish McKenzie, and Jairaj Sethi. The platform enables writers to publish and monetize subscription-based newsletters, podcasts, and videos.

Ownership and Investors

While the founders maintain significant control, Substack has raised approximately $89.5 million through multiple funding rounds. Notable investors include:

• Andreessen Horowitz (a16z): Led both the Series A and Series B funding rounds.

• Y Combinator: Substack was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2018 batch.

• Naval Ravikant: Co-founder of AngelList and a prominent angel investor.

• Omeed Malik: Founder of 1789 Capital, a fund investing in media ventures.

• Nate Silver: Statistician and founder of FiveThirtyEight.

In 2023, Substack initiated a community fundraising round, allowing writers on the platform to invest in the company.

Peter Thiel’s Involvement

There is no public record indicating that Peter Thiel has invested in Substack. While Thiel is known for supporting platforms that emphasize free speech, such as Rumble and Palantir, his involvement with Substack has not been reported.

Platform Philosophy

Substack positions itself as a platform that champions free expression, offering minimal content moderation compared to traditional media outlets. This approach has attracted writers across the political spectrum, including those who have departed from mainstream media.

In summary, Substack remains an independent company with a diverse group of investors. There is no evidence to suggest that Peter Thiel has any ownership stake or direct influence over the platform.

I used to think all that had to happen to defeat any kind of dictatorship was for the dictator to be discredited, or for his supporters to turn on one another. This makes us more aware that, not only does the ante need to be upped - it's already been upped. On us. Once you've concluded your excellent research on thus guy, I'd be interested in your thoughts on how to undermine him, and others you may be writing about. Clearly, we need to do better at concentrating on the real centers of power, not just the Dump himself.

This has been my concern since before trump got re-elected. We know he is a useful idiot who is happy as long as he has a camera in front of him and a pile of gold in his treasure chest.

So many people are missing the danger here.

Trump could stroke out tomorrow and nothing much would change. Impeachment is a mirage. The tentacles of the anti-democratic takeover have advanced so far into the system that I can’t imagine how it could be defeated, except by some total collapse or massive rebellion by ordinary people. It sounds like science fiction but it’s here already.

And that’s why all of this is scary to reasonable people. Technology has, in the wrong hands (minds) allowed power to be centralized thus disrupting media, politics, and social discourse vis a vis “alternative facts” and the bombardment of information on Americans and the world. This tech has forced too many to abandon critical thinking, philosophical debate and may I offer morality as well. It’s hard not to feel that we have dropped

Into an abyss.

lately, I keep vacillating between hope and horror. Between the faction that wants Gilead and the faction that wants Dune and the ability they have demonstrated to take very real steps toward those realities….idk, I’m terrified, but also more angry than I thought I could be. We can’t let them have their way. That vision is just too terrible, too dark. It can’t be allowed.

Peter Thiel. Key Nazi power broker. Not just a Nazi sympathizer - a Nazi. Our job is to expose them, undermine them, one by one. Thiel and their ilk: their worst nightmare, the so-called Deep State. Wish granted. Let's show him what the real Deep State looks like!

A more important and more urgent issue would be how to stop or undermine them. Or what to do about this. tRump has between 35-39% of the people in the US mesmerized. So it would not take much to actually take him out then put Vance in charge and the ending of us would be here now!

Which is roughly the same situation with Nixon and Agnew, until Agnew's domino fell. Nit pointing this out to try to predict anything, just that things can change fast - and the acceleration of cracks in the wall is unpredictable.

But they were much weaker people that this group and they were much less well funded. This group is very well funded and much more diabolical than Nixon ever was. Read the Wikipedia profile of Yarvin. He believes in slavery and feudalism. If any of their ideas are put in place in the US government then we, you and I and our friends and allies become the slaves.

Vance & Thiel started Narya Capital to buy up foreclosed farmland in 2020. The only immigrants coming in now are WHITE African farmers.

All you have to do is Mlmove the first letter of Narya to the end = Aryan

Narya Capital = Aryan Capital

USA farmers lost everything to make room for this.

Vance/Thiel/Musk/Botha/Sacks have been planning this since at least 2020.

Aha. After reading your excellent Part 1 of Thiel's background and agenda, I knew Yarvin would be added to the mix. These guys are techno nutjobs, who envision themselves as the elite of elites, and only they have the correct solution to world governing. Which is to say, no government, but fiefdoms; with a psychopathic overlord, funding with crypto currency, society and market functions run by AI, and the treatment of the 98% of us non-millionaires as serfs. Or worse. Thank you for your brilliant analyses. Looking forward *shudder* to Part 3.

Thank you for continually shining a light on the cockroach's propping up the Trump regime. As old man Donny's rapidly declining mental health becomes harder to hide, these low lifes will become more desperate in their power grab. Stay vigilant, engaged, and when we have overcome this assault on our democracy we must not allow any of these criminals to scurry back under their collective rocks. See you in the streets June 14th!!!
